Our clinic is fully equipped with state-of-the-art X-Ray facilities designed specifically for pets. Our equipment allows more detailed X-Rays to be taken and provides us with better diagnostic value. This also allows precise measurements to be taken which is often used in planning orthopaedic surgeries, to ensure the correct size implants are chosen. Digital X-Rays can be sent quickly and efficiently to other vets and specialists, so if a referral is required, we can send the X-Rays immediately, allowing the specialist to examine the X-Rays before they even see your pet. Vets often use X-Rays to diagnose bone and joint diseases, including fractures, congenital disabilities, bone tumours, and arthritis. We can also image thoracic and abdominal organs including the heart, lungs, liver, intestines, and bladder.
